There are plenty of sites like this, so I can't really say RingCentral is better than anyone else.

The idea behind services like this is that they give you a 800 or local number.

Behind that number you can setup 'big company' things like voice mail boxes, user directories, etc.

Even if you just forward all of your calls to your cell phone, you'll add a more professional presence to your company.
